The SDP SeniorForum was established in Klanjec, which has 24 members.

At the founding convention, Milan Husnjak, a long-time klanjec veterinarian, was elected president, and Marija Antolić, longtime president of the Art Association, was elected president of the Klanjec.Na Ivo Jelušić, president of the Forum of Seniors of SDP Croatia, spoke in his welcome speech about the SDP's proposal of the Pensions Act according to which pensions will be increased by 50% in the next 4 years, i.e. the average monthly pension in Croatia will be increased from the current approx. 500 euros to 750 euros. One of the key incentives for organizing slaughter elderly sdp members and non-members who support SDP was the deteriorating economic and social position of pensioners because the purchasing power of pensioners falls in the eyes of everyone every day. The main reason for the large decline in purchasing power is inflation and large food price increases, which account for about 50% of pension spending by pensioners. In the public space, there is constant debate about the amount of pensions, but the real indicator of the economic position of pensioners is purchasing power and writes about it The Global Retirement Index has compiled a list of countries that provide optimal conditions for the life of pensioners. Different categories in each country were analysed, including pension levels, health care, environmental quality and general living conditions of pensioners. According to the criteria taken into account, it seems that the most comfortable retirement life is reserved for Norway, which proudly occupies the first place. After all, their retirement fund is largely leaning on equity stakes in their wealthy oil companies. Switzerland, Iceland, Ireland, Australia followed, and after those first five further to the twentieth place were lined up: New Zealand, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Denmark, Czech Republic, Germany, Finland, Sweden, Austria, Canada, Israel, South Korea, USA, Great Britain and Belgium. while of our neighbors, Italy is still in 31st place and Hungary in 32nd place. So Slovenia is ahead of them, just like ahead of one Japan which is right behind it (22nd), as well as France (24th) or Singapore (27th). Of the European countries, Greece ranked the worst, in last, 40th place, but still among the best countries for the life of pensioners. And Croatia among these 40 countries with a good life of pensioners does not exist. It is in the company of Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and other former Yugoslav states except Slovenia, where pensioners have been criminally robbed, both in the transformation of social into private, and through years of bad pension policies.
