Attila Mesterházy visited Washington for the first time as president of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly.
During his stay there, he discussed with Senate and congressional representatives, state departments, Pentagon secretaries of state and experts from several research institutes on closer tandors of transatlantic ties, nato's underlying democratic values and combating the challenges facing the Alliance.
