It's clear that the election is on the doorstep.

The only question is when exactly they will be. But more than we're going to have an election in the very near future, the implementation itself is at the forefront. The current system is inadequate, it's already shinginged by birds on the branch. But what is even more absurd is that the current legislation in the National Assembly Elections Act, in the first paragraph of Article 60, states: "The constituency electoral commission draws up a list of validated lists of candidates in the constituency in the order to be determined by lot." Simply put, we have eight constituencies in Slovenia and this lot is carried out in each constituency. In practice, this means that the Slovenian National Party in the seventh constituency can be under number three and in the seventh, under 10. Given that the boundaries between constituencies are very "cowboy-regulated," voters can make a very quick case for a wrong number. Such an arrangement is certainly completely pointless. In the age of digitising society, by nature, the method of foal is obsolete, and cheating can also occur. A lot of voters circle the first or second consecutive number, so it's in every political option to be as high as possible. It is also absurd that, because of the Stone Age system, there are eight different electoral commissions. Which is not in the spirit of digitisation that is supposed to make our lives easier. We wouldn't be surprised if anyone suggested a system of balls like our grandfathers and grandmothers did. It would be wise for one commission to be in Ljubljana to set out a list of validated lists of candidates for the whole country. Thus, in all constituencies, a certain political option would appear under the same number. Such a system would also be more appropriate for older voters. As a result, we have initiated the initiative of the National Electoral Commission to draw up a single consecutive list of validated lists of candidates for the whole country."
