It is with dismay that the Socialist Party becomes aware of the death of Joaquim Pina Moura, who leaves us prematurely at the age of 67.

The Socialist Party is addressing the most felt condolences to the bereaved family and the closest friends. Graduated in economics and post-graduate in monetary economy, Pina Moura held the positions of Deputy Secretary of State of the Prime Minister, Minister of Economy and Finance in the governments of António Guterres and held the term of deputy to the Assembly of Republic in four legislatures. In this moment of mourning, the Socialist Party does not want to fail to pay a heartfelt tribute to Pina Moura for his dedication and attachment to the values of the Socialist Party, which unites all comrades in this moment of loss.
