Μήνυμα του Κομμουνιστικού Κόμματος των Λαών της Ισπανίας (PCPE) προς το 23ο Συνέδριο του ΑΚΕΛΜήνυμα προς το 23ο Συνέδριο απέστειλε το Κομμουνιστικό Κόμμα των Λαών της Ισπανίας (PCPE):On behalf of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Peoples ofSpain (PCPE), we send you sincere and fraternal greetings for the celebration ofyour 23rd Congress.We understand and highlight the effort AKEL is making to be able to gather allyour delegates, who will be working between the 2nd and 4th of July in a congresswhich celebrates the 95 years of existence of the Party.The situation of COVID-19 pandemic forced to change the dates of such animportant event for the Cypriot people, since AKEL is the organization whichactively deploys its tactics for the benefit and interest of the working class andthe other popular strata.Cyprus’ strategical position, nearby the armed warfare steadily taking place inthe Near East, turn it into a key factor, given the short distance between itsterritory and the fights for hegemony where violence reaches its highest levels.Thus, the Cypriot people faces a division of its territory that reduces and cuts offtheir sovereignty and independence.
