In order to reinforce the idea that there are professions for men and professions for women, the Government launches today, Children's Day, the 'Play of Professions for Equality', a portal to deconstruct gender stereotypes." We mark this Tuesday, 1 June, World Children's Day, with the launch of the Game of Professions For Equality, which consists of an online portal, now with a first game, but that will be fed with other challenges and interactive activities, as well as content and information on these topics, available to the whole community and families with the aim of deconstructing gender stereotypes associated with the professions and demonstrating that there are not only professions for men or only for women," reads the executive's statement.

Initiative of the Secretary of State For Citizenship and Equality, Rosa Monteiro, the project was developed with the involvement of the Centre for Social Studies of the University of Coimbra, with the women in tech platform in Portugal, which intends to publicize the presence of women in the technology sector and with the training centre in the areas of Technology Ironhack Lisboa.The development of the portal was also done in the feminine, by the Community Girls of the Code and illustrated by the designer Rita do Mar.Rosa Monteiro points out the importance of "continuing to work, from an early age, on the deconstruction of what limits the access of women and men to certain professions or careers and, thus consnating their freedom and the realization of a full life and a sustainable society", promoting, from an early age, an education "in freedom and without gender constraints."
