As early as January 2023, a 16-year-old girl was sexually abused in an allotment garden and later in an apartment in Solingen by five young men aged 16-18.

The girl stated that the act may have been filmed, whereupon the public prosecutor's office had a search warrant against one of the suspects (17) executed by the Wuppertal police. During the search of the suspect, a mobile phone was seized and evaluated. The evaluation confirms the girl's accusation.
