The parties running are FIDESZ and an opposition united in a coalition of 6 parties. The members of this opposition coalition are: a far-right party, the socialist party, 2 liberal parties and 2 green parties. They have joined forces and are running together because under the electoral system established by FIDESZ it is practically impossible to replace the Orbán government. The other 4 parties running are decidedly insignificant.So, basically, you can say that there are two right-wing formations fighting each other. At the heart of the FIDESZ policy is the strengthening of national capitalist groups, while the opposition coalition is made up of the traditional “comprador” bourgeoisie favouring international capital.The EU and the big Western countries, especially Germany, have supported FIDESZ for decades, but now they openly support the opposition coalition. The EU is not happy with Orban’s foreign policy, which seeks to get closer to Russia and China.Both FIDESZ and the opposition coalition are pursuing the neoliberal economic policies demanded by the EU and will introduce severe austerity measures.Unfortunately, the candidates of the Workers’ Party of Hungary 2006 and the Hungarian Social Democratic Party were excluded from the election under suspicious circumstances. The facts were presented to the OSCE observers in Hungary and we are considering taking our case to an international tribunal.We will continue to criticize the system after April 3, protect the poor, the exploited and the vulnerable, and take even more active steps to unite the system-critical left.*** FR ***Des élections législatives à un tour se tiendront en Hongrie le 3 avril 2022. Les partis se présentant sont le FIDESZ et une opposition uni dans une coalition de 6 partis. Les membres de cette coalition d’opposition sont: un parti d’extrême droite, le parti socialiste, 2 partis libéraux et 2 partis verts. Ils ont uni leurs forces et se présentent ensemble parce que dans le cadre du système électoral établi par le FIDESZ il est pratiquement impossible de remplacer le gouvernement Orbán.Les 4 autres partis en lice sont décidément insignifiants.Donc, en gros, on peut dire que deux formations de droite s’affrontent. Au cœur de la politique du FIDESZ c’est le renforcement des groupes capitalistes nationaux, tandis que la coalition d’opposition est constituée de la bourgeoisie compradore traditionnelle favorisant le capital international.L’UE et les grands pays occidentaux, en particulier l’Allemagne, ont soutenu le FIDESZ pendant des décennies, mais aujourd’hui, ils soutiennent ouvertement la coalition d’opposition. L’UE n’est pas satisfaite de la politique étrangère d’Orban, qui cherche à se rapprocher de la Russie et de la Chine.Tant le FIDESZ que la coalition d’oppositionpoursuivent les politiques économiques néolibérales exigées par l’UE et introduiront de sévères mesures d’austérité.Malheureusement, les candidats du Parti des Travailleurs d’Hongrie 2006 et du Parti social-démocrate hongrois ont été exclus de l’élection dans des circonstances suspectes. Les faits ont été présentés aux observateurs de l’OSCE en Hongrie et nous envisageons de porter nos droits devant un tribunal international.
