The Minister of Territorial Cohesion, Ana Abrunhosa, presented the government priorities for the territory in 2020, at the National Headquarters of the Socialist, making a commitment to "not forget any part of the country".

Before an audience of militants and supporters of the PS, Ana Abrunhosa stressed that the his ministry "is not only for the interior, but has to have upon it a look very attentive." The minister explained mandate is based on the Interior Valuation Programme set up by the previous Executive, and it is now up to him to develop a strategy to "capture attract people and fix them", taking care of the resident populations. Ana Abrunhosa announced that she will "give priority to structuring projects of the interior territory involving an entire network", from companies to institutions, through infrastructure, especially in the border regions, where intends to implement an "Iberian platform" model that leads to to one of the poorest regions of the country. The ruler also gave note of the government's main objective for e4sta governing area in 2020: injecting into the national economy more than EUR 1 500 million from Community Funds, that will leverage an overall investment of EUR 2.4 billion. The Minister of Cohesion has announced a new package of measures, the +CO3SO programme, which aims to cover a set of areas of activity, of which three were highlighted: the competitiveness, job creation and mobility. Ana Abrunhosa explained that, under this programme, there will be support available to companies that want to invest, underlining the measure to support the creation of 3,000 new jobs over the next 3 years, fully supported by community funds. This will benefit Small and Medium-sized Enterprises and social economy entities, which may hire qualified staff to throughout this period. This is a measure previously announced by the Minister for Labour, Solidarity and Social Security, now detailed in the by his Governo.Na opening colleague this initiative to disseminate the sectoral priorities of the Budget of the deputy secretary general of the PS, José Luís Carneiro, stressed "the socialist brand of cohesion policies" stating that "for the GOVERNMENT of the PS, it is important that people walk side by side and that there is no one to back."
