Free and Equal joins the Roma Pride 2018, scheduled in the capital next Saturday, June 9. This is announced in a note by the leader and senator of LeU Pietro Grasso.
A civilized and evolved society, says Grasso, must necessarily be based on the principle of equality provided for by Article 3 of the Constitution of the Republic, which stipulates that 'all citizens have equal social dignity and are equal before the law , regardless of gender, race, language, religion, political views, personal and social conditions.' At a time when discrimination is being denounced in Italy, this is a fundamental initiative to focus on the protection of civil rights"."
