The dramatic situation surrounding the Enlightenment strike culminated in the gathering of tens of thousands of trade unionists, teachers, citizens.

We were all satisfied because Plenković and the HDZ government received a goal from a singleester. Throughout Croatia, satisfied citizens from their armchairs, as the real Croatians do, welcomed the strikers by squeezing their hands into a fist and shouted, "That!". On the other hand, members of the negotiating team, after lengthy and exhausting negotiations, have reached the point when the Government of the Republic of Croatia arrived at what-such offer, they say somewhat acceptable, which they are willing to give to union membership to decide whether to accept it. But is that what the teachers really wanted, is that what the Croatians were cheering for?! The prime Minister is talking about bringing a new regulation only after the elections next year. Why not next year? Why shouldn't the ordinance be brought right away? Why shouldn't the text of the agreement be incorporated into an obligation and the exact end date of its adoption? But as long as our Prime Minister is pleased. He says, "I think we've achieved a quality compromise." Quality for who? For teachers who have been underpaid for years (underpaid with meaning – underpaid, the second meaning is usually tied to HDZ's criminal organization, but this is not currently the subject of text). For teachers who work in schools is not a job but a call? For teachers whose diplomas seem not as valuable as lawyers ' degrees or engineers? The only ones benefalling from this "high-quality compromise" are the ruling HDZ with the prime minister. And so the "concerned" prime minister, who had not slept for days because of the neglected interest of children who do not go to class, slipped away from the mind that he had long been able to show that his children's interest in the first place and simply accept the Union's offer of increased coefficients The educator's salary. Instead, he waved them in front of their noses with an offer to raise salaries for all public officials, although it would burden the state budget with an expense of about 1.7 billion per year, instead of the amount of 400 million kuna, as far as the increase in the policy The required 6.11 on the annual basis. He also implicated Minister Maric, who had to justify the premiere's move by explaining that the situation in the public services was complicated, and that they thought this joint increase would solve everyone who considered their salary too small. But now it remains to wait for the referendum decision of the union membership torn between the decision on the raise, which they need so much, and the principle of the increase of the coefficient. The decision is not easy, especially when the government threatens unpaid wages and transfers the burden of "children's interest" to teachers. It is especially difficult not to have classes with people who love and care about their children and teach them about life. It's people who are responsible for the trouble and remorse. But realistically, wouldn't the children of the continuation of the strike better learn what it means to perseverance, righteousness, determination, to know how to fight for their attitudes. However difficult it may be and whatever decision you make, Croatian Labour will support teachers in the hopes of enduring and still will not take crumbs from the rich HDZ's food, on which the church and the other State and themselves are well fed.
